Stratford HS Cheer Team placed 6th in the States last weekend and qualified to compete for “Team of the Year” on Saturday, March 9th at North Haven High School
Great job by Stratford HS Dance Team who finished 3rd in the States for Hip Hop and qualified to compete in the Regionals in Vermont this weekend! They will be competing from 12:24 p.m.-12:54 p.m. in South Burlington, VT, at South Burlington High School, 550 Dorset St.
Congratulations to Stratford HS All-State Wrestler, Lindsey Rywolt, who won the State Championship, New England Championship and was named New England’s Most Outstanding Wrestler last weekend !
The Stratford High School Boys’ Swim Team had 2 swimmers qualify for the SWC’s this Friday, Ty Faerdy and Gabe Rodriguez. Ty will be swimming the 100 meter breaststroke and 50 meter freestyle and Gabe will be swimming the 50 meter freestyle as well.
In the breaststroke Ty Faerdy placed 14th, and in the 50 meter freestyle he placed 32nd.
50 Meter Freestyle: Gabe Rodriguez places 29th.
