Connecticut Clean Communities (CCC) and The Clean Earth Project will hold a spring litter cleanup at Long Beach on Saturday, March 29 from noon to 2 p.m.

“We’re excited to hold our first cleanup of the season at beautiful Long Beach,” said CCC board member Dawn Handschuh.  “Last year, we collected 100 pounds of trash at Long Beach with about a dozen volunteers, and we hope to beat that number on Saturday.”

All cleanup supplies will be provided, along with refreshments from Del Mare Pizza. Look for the sign-in table at the end of the parking lot.

Connecticut Clean Communities is a statewide 501(c)(3) nonprofit group that organizes litter cleanups along the coastline, in our woodlands and in our neighborhoods to instill pride in our communities while protecting wildlife and preserving habitat.
