The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) has announced that Longbrook Avenue will be closed for 30 days at the intersection of Route 1 (Barnum Avenue Cutoff). This closure will begin this Monday, June 17, 2024, and end on Wednesday, July 17, 2024.
Lane Closure Information:
During the 30-day period, traffic on Longbrook Avenue at the intersection of Route 1 will be redirected.
Detour Plan:
– Traffic will be rerouted onto Route 1 (Barnum Avenue Cutoff).
– From there, vehicles will be directed onto Main Street.
– Finally, traffic will return onto Longbrook Avenue.
The detour has been carefully planned to minimize disruption and ensure that residents and commuters can navigate the area safely and efficiently.
