Boothe Christmas Event
December 1st through to December 16th
The Historic Boothe Homestead at Boothe Memorial Park, 5800 Main Street, will be decked out in its finest splendor to celebrate the holidays. Many of the buildings will be beautifully decorated for the holidays with the proceeds benefitting our school program.
The Homestead will be decorated in a Victorian theme. There will be over 20 – 3 foot decorated trees available for a silent auction. The trees were donated to Stratford non-profits who have decorated them for the auction.
The hours for the tours, and for bidding on the decorated Christmas trees are:
Friday December 6th, 6:30-8:30 p.m.
Saturday, December 7th and Sunday December 8th, 2-5 p.m.
Saturday, December 14th and Sunday, December 15th from 2-5 p.m.
Monday, December 16th, 6:30-8 p.m.
The cost is $5. Children under 12 are free.
Santa will be in attendance in the visitor center for pictures on Saturday, December 7th and Sunday, December 8th from 2:30-3:30 p.m.
The Stratford Veterans Museum will be open: December. 6th- 6:30 to 8:30 pm
December 7th – 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., December 8th – 1 to 3 p.m., December 11th – 1 to 3 p.m., December 14th – 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., December 15th – 1 to 3 p.m., December 16th – 6:30 to 8 p.m.
The Boothe Memorial Railway Society will be open Saturday December 14th from 1-4 p.m. Santa will be arriving on a fire truck and greeting visitors until 3 p.m..
Putney Chapel will be open Friday, December 6th from 6:30-8:30 p.m. and Saturday, December 14th from 11-4 p.m.
