Saturday, July 22nd at 2 p.m. The Stratford Library will welcome back the popular New England Guitar Society in a live concert that is free and open to the public.  For the library concert, NEGS will present a classical guitar journey with music by Mauro Giuliani, J.S. Bach, Astor Piazzolla, Carlo Domeniconi and Francis Kleynjans among others. The concert will be held in the Library’s air-conditioned Lovell Room. StoryWalk 4:  From Monday July 24th through Sunday, July 30th – Stratford Point will be hosing the StoryWalk.  Main Event: Learn about local birds and their environment with the CT Audubon Society on Saturday, July 29th at 1 p.m. at Stratford Point.

Sunday, July 30th from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.  Historical Society Ready to Celebrate with Birthday Bash at Judson House.  On the Lawn and in the Museum.  There will be something for all ages.  The Ice cream social celebrating Judson House 300th anniversary will feature ice cream and ices from Micalizzi’s.  There will be lawn games, performances by Nappy’s Puppets, tours of the Judson House, Party favors (pencils, wooden top, dried apples), and more.

Saturday, August 19th Neighborhood Breakfast at Stratford United Methodist Church, free community breakfast 8:30-10:00 a.m. on the 3rd Saturday of each month: July 15th and August 19th.  They offer hot food and community for those in need.  Enter through the back of the church.  Enjoy a meal and visit the thrift shop, which has affordable clothing, toys, and household items.

September 9th Sterling House Down & Dirty 5k.  The Sterling House Down and Dirty 5K Obstacle Race is a family-friendly, obstacle-filled, mud run through Stratford Short Beach.  Registration open.  Sign up now.
