The CDC and American Academy of Pediatrics urge every child keep up-to-date with wellness visits and routine vaccinations. “The Stratford Health Department recognizes the importance of proactive healthcare measures and the role they play in supporting academic success. We aim to remove barriers and make it easier for families to access vital healthcare services for their children.” says Kristina Agapito RN, Public Health Nurse.

We urge all parents and guardians to take advantage of this valuable opportunity to ensure their children are ready for the new school year.

The clinic will offer a wide range of vaccinations, including tetanus, hepatitis B, hepatitis A, chicken pox (varicella), mumps, measles, and rubella (MMR), polio, and meningitis. Tuberculosis skin tests will also be available for a $20.00 charge, and patients must plan accordingly since it requires a second visit in 48 hours. Parents or guardians must accompany their child and must bring the child’s immunization records with them. There is a $20.00 charge for their first immunization, and $5.00 for each immunization thereafter. Physicals are $75.00 (cash or check).
