Sunday, December 8th, 2 P.M., Stratford Library, Connecticut recording artist Joe Newman Performed live in the Lovell Room. Seating is limited and is on a first-come, first-served basis. Seating begins 30 minutes prior to start time. Free and Open to the Public
Holiday At the Homestead: December 6th through 16th. The Historic Boothe Homestead at Boothe Memorial Park, 5800 Main Street, will be decked out in its finest splendor to celebrate the holidays. Many of the buildings will be beautifully decorated for the holidays with the proceeds benefitting our school program. The Homestead will be decorated in a Victorian theme, and there will be over 20 – 3 foot decorated trees available for a silent auction. The trees were donated to Stratford non-profits who have decorated them for the auction. The hours for the tours, and for bidding on the decorated Christmas trees are:
Friday December 6th, 6:30-8:30 p.m.
Saturday, December 7th and Sunday December 8th, 2-5 p.m.
Saturday, December 14th and Sunday, December 15th from 2-5 p.m.
Monday, December 16th, 6:30-8 p.m.
The cost is $5. Children under 12 are free.
Santa will be in attendance in the visitor center for pictures on Saturday, December 7th and Sunday, December 8th from 2:30-3:30 p.m.

Monday December 9th, Stratford Library Monday Matinees, noon, free showings of recent, popular films shown uncut and on widescreen each month. INSIDE OUT 2. The little voices inside Riley’s head know her inside and out–but next summer, everything changes when Inside Out 2 introduces a new Emotion: Anxiety. Monday December 9th, from 9:15 to 10:15 a.m., Holy Name of Jesus Food Pantry. The food pantry is sponsored by the Connecticut Food Bank, the Stratford Department of Health, and the YMCA. The Food Bank takes place on every other Monday, and they are asking that cars line up on College Street. You are also asked to bring your own reusable bag. There will be 1 bag per household distributed. Please bring identification if a second household is in the car.
Tuesday, December 10th at 7 p.m. Baldwin Center. Great music to celebrate the season by the Stratford Community Concert Band. No admission charge. All welcome.
Saturday December 14th from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Putney Chapel Association will have an open house with live music by Dr. Joe Utterback.
