State Representative Laura Dancho (R)
120th Connecticut House District

Dear friends and neighbors,

The Women’s Business Development Council (WBDC) announced that the next round of their Equity Match Grant Program is open now! The deadline to apply is February 28, 2023. The application is also offered in Spanish.

The program offers grants of up to $10,000 to women-owned businesses in Connecticut that have been in business for 2 or more years and have revenues between $25K and $2M. Cash grants between $2,500 and $10,000 will be awarded to qualified women-owned small businesses for clearly-defined projects that will have a measurable impact on the business, its growth and profitability.

Since the program launched in late 2020, they have distributed 167 grants totaling over $1.5M to women-owned businesses in Connecticut. For additional information and more details on the program, please visit the WBDC website.

As always, please feel free to contact my office if you have questions, ideas or concerns about any issue related to state government.

Sincerely,
