Election Lawn Posters

I am seeing the lawn posters for people running for an office, which it is difficult to see. What they are running for on these signs, just the last name is readable.
Why can’t the Democrat and Republican town party leaders send out a news flyer stating who is running, what they are running for and what they stand for???
Local elections are more important than national elections; these folks are in our town, running our town. We need to know who they are and how they feel about issues in our town.
They are more directly connected to our livelihood, so we need to pay attention and make smart choices when voting. It would be nice to have information now.
What do the party leaders do? Certainly not inform the public who they have running. Such a shame.
