Share

by State Representative Joe Gresko, (D)
121st Connecticut House District

Dear Neighbor,

The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is developing plans to replace traffic signal controllers and cabinets at select state-owned traffic signals in Southwestern Connecticut, as well as the installation of communication equipment at several of the locations.

CTDOT is planning these installations and revisions at the following intersections in Stratford:

Route 108 at North Avenue

Route 108 at Johnson Avenue

Route 108 at Second Hill Lane and Connors Lane

Route 113 at Huntington Road, Birch Place, and Freeman Avenue

Route 110 at Wilcoxson Avenue

Huntington Road at Merritt Boulevard, Beaver Dam Lake, and Route 8 Northbound Ramps

The design plans for these projects are expected to be completed in June 2023 with a tentative advertising date for construction of August 2023. CTDOT will coordinate with the town during the design phase – and I will continue to share updates as they become available.

As always, please feel free to reach out to me at the Capitol at 860-842-0363 or email me at Joseph.Gresko@cga.ct.gov.
