At 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 8th at the Baldwin Center, the Stratford Historical Society’s (SHS) Garden Committee Chairperson Kevin Moore discusses the installation of the Pollinator Garden at the Captain David Judson House (located at 967 Academy Hill).

On Saturday, August 19th at 10 a.m. at the Judson House/Catharine B. Mitchell Museum Historic Gardens, 967 Academy Hill, join Laurie Masciandaro to learn about the sixteen historic gardens across Connecticut. Laurie will share her extensive knowledge of gardening from a historian’s perspective and discuss the styles, beauty, and traditions of gardens of the past.
Laurie is the Site Manager at Historic New England’s Roseland Cottage in Woodstock, Connecticut, and holds a Master’s Degree in American History from the University of Connecticut.
Enjoy light refreshments and walk through our Historic Judson House Gardens following the presentation.  $3 Members, $5 Non-members. Seating is limited, so be sure to register online:
