The Town of Stratford has conducted 3 deliveries of COVID-19 rapid test kits from the State of Connecticut.

The first distribution occurred at Stratford Public schools with 3,600 test kits delivered. School families were notified directly through their districts and principals about the availability of the initial supply of rapid test kits, and when and where they could be obtained.

The second distribution was held at Short Beach Park on Wednesday, January 5th. 2,080 test kits were distributed to residents.

The third distribution was also held at Short Beach Park on Sunday, January 9th. 2,500 test kits were distributed to residents, as well as N95 masks.

We recognize that the number of kits delivered so far has been insufficient for the need in our community, and more kits are being made available soon. Details for those distributions will be made public as soon as arrangements are finalized.  Further distributions will be scheduled upon receipt of additional kits.

Residents should note that there continues to be sites available in Stratford for COVID-19 tests, including DeLuca Field parking lot every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. You can register here:   https://coronatestct.com/

Drive-through testing is also available at DOCS Urgent Care Center, 200 East Main Street (Appointments can be made here:
