Dear Neighbor,
I want to keep you informed about an important road improvement project that will impact our community. The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) has scheduled a milling and resurfacing project on Route 113 in Bridgeport and Stratford.
Project Details:
Scope: The project will cover 0.72 miles of Route 113.
Dates:
– Milling Segment: June 16 to June 19, 2024.
– Resurfacing Segment: June 23 to June 28, 2024.
Lane Closures: Expect lane closures on Route 113 (Hollister Avenue/Lordship Blvd.) from Orange Street in Bridgeport to Woodend Road in Stratford.
Detour for I-95 Northbound Exit 30 Off-Ramp: During the milling and resurfacing work, the I-95 northbound Exit 30 off-ramp may be temporarily closed. Follow the detour signs:
1. Exit I-95 northbound at Exit 31 (Honeyspot Road).
2. Turn left at the end of the ramp.
3. Take another left onto I-95 southbound.
4. Exit at Exit 30 (Surf Ave) and follow it to Lordship Boulevard.
Night Work Schedule: The project will take place from 7:00 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. (Sunday night through Friday morning).Caution: Weather delays may impact the schedule.
