There was a multiple alarm fire that tore through homes at 27-35 Shoreline Drive in Lordship at approximately 3 a.m. on Wednesday, January 7th, displacing multiple families, and warranting support from the Red Cross.
Not only did the Red Cross provide help to the families, but neighboring fire departments from Bridgeport and Milford answered the call to assist the Stratford Fire Department. The cause of the fire is still under investigation. You can read more here from the Stratford Fire Department.
