“Giving Tuesday” at the Stratford Library

Share

Tuesday, November 28th

The Stratford Library will be participating in “Giving Tuesday” on Tuesday, November 28th. This is a chance to step away from the consumerism of Black Friday and Cyber Monday, and help the Library continue its mission to empower and enrich its diverse community.

According to Library Director Sheri Szymanski, “I encourage all Stratford residents to support Giving Tuesday. Why not kick off the season of giving and generosity with a donation of any size to your Stratford Library? Help us keep providing our town with unique programs, fantastic books and movies, and tech help for all!”

Each contribution ($10, $20, $50) can make an impact. Patrons can donate directly online by visiting the Stratford Library at: http://stratfordlibrary.org/support/

Funds raised on “Giving Tuesday” will be used by the Library for its collections, programming and technology.

  1. Give as much as you can. Apart from our beautiful and valuable library, keeping company with SquareOne and the Mighty Quinn Foundation’s Shakespeare Academy, there’s not a lot supporting the cultural life of Stratford. It’s a living center and a source of life. Stratford deserves it. Its steady existence says something important about us.
