NBA Free Agency

This NBA Free Agency has been by far one of the crazier free agencies in the history of the NBA with the exception of the Decision by LeBron James, even then though it really was just him that year compared to this year.

What is also crazy about this free agency is the fact that it started Sunday night (at the time of this writing it is Wednesday) there have been 63 transactions in the past four days.

One of the bigger transactions has been Paul George signing with the Philadelphia 76ers for a four-year max deal which by many seem to be a great deal, I believe that it shouldn’t have been such a big deal because at the conclusion of his deal he will be 38 and he has a history of injuries.

Another eye popping signing was Immanuel quickly signing a five-year 175 millon dollar deal with the Toronto Raptors after only averaging 18.5 points per game with them. Is he a great player, yes, but to be paid that much and he isn’t an all NBA player or anything, is a bit much.

A free-agent I hadn’t expected to leave their team is Klay Thompson, who signed with the Dallas Mavericks for a three year 50 million dollar contract, Which put the Mavericks in a better place because it leaves defenses honest with a third weapon besides Kyrie Irving and Luka Doncic.

Jayson Tatum re-signed with the Boston Celtics, which was expected as he brought another championship to Boston, He signed a super max deal which keeps him there for the next 5 years.

Now for one of the bigger questions, will the Lakers do anything major this summer or will they miss out on major free agents again.

With all this free agency buzz who will come out on top at the end of the season next June and which free agent will be the biggest bust or be the best thing for a team next season?
