Longbrook Park Cleanup

Share

Letters To The Editor

By Greg Carleton

Thanks and kudos to the Longbrook Park Commission, led by Chair Chris Green, D2, and Kaitlyn Shake, D7, for coordinating the very successful volunteer cleanup of Longbrook Park on Saturday, April 26. Despite rainy conditions, the event saw its largest crowd of volunteers helping to keep the park looking good.  A special thanks to Sterling Community Center for its large crew of young and old volunteers who made a big difference in getting the job done. And thanks to Frenchie’s Coffee and to Bagel Boutique for refreshments.

Another volunteer cleanup of the park will occur in the fall.
