I’m writing to support Kaitlyn Shake for State Representative of the 120th district. It’s important to me to vote for someone who most closely aligns with my own ideals. Kaitlyn Shake will fight to keep women’s issues and rights at the forefront of her work in Hartford–from equal pay to body autonomy, I know she will work for all women. We can’t assume Connecticut is safe from the movement to reduce women’s freedoms. We are not. Having an additional Democrat in Connecticut’s House will ensure we retain our rights.
Kaitlyn Shake has shown through her work on the town council her dedication to the environment, business, and education. We need more funds from the state for our educational system here in Stratford. Through negotiation and earnestness she attained one million more in funding from the town for our schools and I know she can do it on the state level. Ms. Shake worked hard to save trees in Stratford’s beautiful Longbrook Park, and is a strong supporter of a business friendly atmosphere locally and at the state level. We need Kaitlyn Shake in Hartford to work for us. She is dedicated to public service and making our lives better.
Vote for Kaitlyn Shake on Tuesday, November 5th at your usual voting location, or utilize early voting at Baldwin Center starting October 21st.
