Yarn Browse and Swap at the Library

Share

Saturday, January 11
10:30 AM to 2:30 PM in the Lovell Room

ONE CRAFTER’S UNWANTED YARN IS ANOTHER’S INSPIRATION!

Bring your clean, untangled yarn plus supplies you’re not using, and browse for something new to you! Or if you’re new to knitting or crochet and don’t have a “stash” yet, feel free to stop by and get yarn and inspiration for future projects.

REJUVENATE YOUR YARN COLLECTION, MEET FELLOW CRAFTERS, AND GET INSPIRED!

HOW IT WORKS

Bring the yarn you no longer love or have a purpose for, packaged in clear bags and labeled whenever possible.

Swap it for something you can use, or sell/donate to an aspiring crafter!

If you would like your own table to display your stash, please register in advance so we can make sure to have enough tables.

You can bring knitting accessories, e.g. books, needles, project bags. They need to be in good, clean condition please.

No yarn to swap? No problem! Come browse and find a variety of yarns to start your own stash.

Attendees are also encouraged to stay and knit while enjoying some refreshments.

If your yarn does not find a new home, you may take it home or choose to donate it.

To register or for further information, please call the Stratford Library at 203-385-4164 or go to www.stratfordlibrary.org
