Kindness is Caring Rotary Children’s Book Project

Share

Stratford Rotary Club

The Stratford Rotary Club with Trumbull Rotary and bestselling Dr. Seuss author Tish Rabe, are creating a new children’s book that features a charming story that reflects the goals of the Four-Way Test, and includes information to encourage parents to join Rotary in their local communities.

Bright, beautiful illustrations will be provided by African artist, Moka Celess. The book will be written entirely in rhyme and available in time for Rotary’s Day of Service, April 2026.

THE GOAL

To raise $50,000 to fund the production, marketing, and printing of this delightful book, spreading Rotary’s values of kindness and friendship to children and families worldwide.

WHY SUPPORT THIS PROJECT? BECAUSE IT…

  • Promotes Rotary’s commitment to literacy, one of its core focus areas, and empowers children with the values of kindness and caring
  • Serves as a literacy initiative to provide free books to underserved communities, and connects Rotary Clubs with schools, libraries, and daycare centers
  • Includes a message about Rotary’s mission to inspire young parents to join
