Since 2006, Holy Joe’s Café has been sending free coffee to U.S. military bases around the world. Our mission is simple: serving a little bit of home to those who serve our country.
From our humble beginning collecting cans of coffee in a church in Wallingford, Connecticut, we’ve grown to serve billions of cups of coffee and helped open over 300 coffee houses throughout the world, mainly in the Middle East but also in places like Africa, Europe, and even on board Navy ships and in NATO military hospitals.
Where the troops go, we go.
Holy Joe’s Café is part of military Chaplains 24/7/365 service to the troops, including helping soldiers with family emergencies, caring for wounded soldiers, conducting memorial services for the fallen, and counseling survivors when a soldier is killed in battle.
All service personnel are welcome, including NATO troops from other countries that share the same base, as well as people of all religious faiths and backgrounds. It’s vital for our troops to have a place to unwind and share a taste of home, and it’s a reminder that the world they willingly left behind still cares.

Established in 2009 and Incorporated in 2010, our mission is to bring hope to our city through direct service programs. We have ten (10) programs focusing on education, food, and health. We strive to mitigate the effects of food scarcity and food insecurity. Each program was designed to answer a need in our city.
