Dear Neighbor,
Here we are, just 24 hours away from Thanksgiving Day. Soon, people will sit around dinner tables, with bread rolls, mashed potatoes, gravy, and turkey too. It is my hope that you, dear neighbor, be present for the day of thanks. Whether you are with your biological family or your chosen family or some variation in between, may you take a moment to honor the past, and read David Wright’s article.
As you immerse yourself in the challenges of the present, consider Luz’s words: “let us remember to take stock of our blessings and give thanks for them with a grateful heart.” We, at the Crier, are grateful for you, and would like to say thank you for reading our local newspaper. We invite you to spread the news with your friends and family, those near and far, and with a grateful heart may they find gifts within the pages.
Your gift to us this season will help us grow our team and enhance what we can offer you. Will you consider making a donation to support your local, digital newspaper? Happy Thanksgiving!
