State of CT Approves $3 million for Raymark Superfund Site

Share

State Representative Joe Gresko (D)
121st Connecticut House District

I wanted to share some great news for our Stratford neighbors! The State Bond Commission, with the support of Governor Lamont, has just approved $3 million in funding to continue the essential cleanup efforts at the Raymark Superfund site. This funding is a crucial step forward in our ongoing mission to protect the health and well-being of our residents by addressing hazardous waste issues in our town.

I want to express my sincere gratitude to Governor Lamont, the State Bond Commission, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), and the Department of Energy & Environmental Protection (DEEP) for their dedication and partnership in this vital project. Thanks to their efforts, we are making significant progress in ensuring a safer environment for all Stratford residents.

Thank you for your continued support as we work together to build a healthier, safer Stratford.

As always, if I can be of any assistance, please feel free to contact my office at (860) 240-8585 or email me directly.
