For the seventh year in a row, the Town of Stratford will be flying the rainbow flag at Town Hall throughout the month of June.
Mayor Hoydick will join members from local clergy and community leaders at the Pride celebration, which is open to the public.
Pride, a month-long celebration of the LGBTQ+ communities, was originally started as a commemoration of the 1969 Stonewall Uprising in New York City. Since then, Pride has spread across the country, promoting visibility and equality for the LGBTQ+ community.
