On October 10th, with the sun shining, an array of vendors from crafters to fiber artists to baby goats, and nonprofits alike, took to Paradise Green to set up their booths. The weather was perfect, the kids were ready, and the goats arrived as if they were getting out of a clown car.

The kids enjoyed a few games, from wrapping the money to the eye-ball race and of course, face-painting. Stratford’s Paradise Green Business Association and The Inclusive Brew, a Fairfield County based company, organized and hosted the event, and were thrilled with the turnout of over 250 people throughout the day.
And to close out the month of October, Stratford’s Paradise Green Business Association, hosted the beloved trick-or-treating event on the Green. The event provides a safe, coordinated, and fun-filled event for kids (and their grown-ups) to put on their costumes for a little pre-Halloween fun.

With nearly all businesses participating this year, with the exception of Subway, Yale New Haven Health, and a few others, the Stratford Police Department were on duty to ensure the safety of all trick-or-treaters, reporting that over 350 individuals were in attendance.
While the fun-filled month of October was accented by the many opportunities to acquire candy, dress up, and be with friends, November promises much of the same, but perhaps with a little less candy.
