Song Circle Friday Night

Share

September 13th, 7:00 to 9:00 P.M.
Unitarian Universalist Church of Greater Bridgeport
275 Huntington Road

Look for the Peace Pole and the Pollinator Pathway Garden in the front yard. Check for bees!

September is rolling in with the changing colors of the leaves peeking through! Soon, all the trees will follow join in the transformation. Experience something inclusive in our song circle to celebrate; Freedom of Expression!

Everyone is welcome and everyone gets a chance to choose how (or whether) to participate.

Here’s how it goes…We take turns going around the circle, leading or suggesting a song. Bring a few songs to share or bring an instrument if you play one. Listeners welcome too! Invite a friend or two.

We will be playing 6 steps down in our Fellowship Room. There is a chairlift entrance at the back of the building and a unisex bathroom with grab bars. Masks are welcome but not required.

Colin Healy:  Needed:  Volunteers to be in a Song Circle

I am running a Song Circle in my capacity as the music Director of the Arts Alliance of Stratford at Sterling House Community Center in Stratford. This event will be part of the Bridgeport Art Trail.

All those who attend events in Bridgeport will be mostly seeing the finished work of professional artists, while we will be providing hands-on experience with a number of art forms including a Song Circle Experience.

Mark Your Calendar:  We will meet on Saturday, November 9th, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. in the art gallery at Sterling House Community Center (that I designed) on the first floor, surrounded by the works of the Alliance Artists. Please let me know if you can help to provide enough structure for a successful session.

There are lots of other things to see and experience from the 7th to the 10th if you have the time. Here is a link.   https://bridgeportarttrail.org/schedule

Please let me know if you can come. ASAP
