Dancho Earns Independent Party Endorsement

Share

State Representative Laura Dancho has been officially endorsed by the Independent Party of Connecticut as she seeks reelection for state representative of the 120th Assembly District. This endorsement underscores Dancho’s longtime commitment to bipartisanship, public safety, investing in education, and her ability to address a diverse range of constituent concerns.

Every election, the Independent Party of Connecticut endorses candidates who employ centrist ideas that transcend party politics.

“I am honored to once again receive the Independent Party endorsement,” said Dancho. “Being independent minded is critical in our modern political landscape because it calls us to pull back from ‘politics’ and focus on the issues. I will continue to be the common-sense candidate that Stratford voters deserve, so that together, we can make our state more affordable, safe, and sustainable.”

“When Bridgeport’s incumbents commit election fraud to beat out a fellow Independent endorsed candidate, voters are disenfranchised,” added Dancho. “As State Representative, I have submitted testimony opposing attempts from the majority party to make it more difficult for the Independent Party to thrive, as well as voted to support legislation to criminalize voter fraud and secure our elections.”

Dancho concluded, “I began my time in politics because I believe that no voter should ever feel disenfranchised, and I want to ensure all our residents have a seat at the table. As the endorsed Republican and Independent candidate for state representative, I will keep putting Stratford’s interests first and be the only candidate to stand with our police, support tax cuts, fully fund our schools, and provide a prosperous community for new and prospective businesses and families.”

State Representative Laura Dancho represents the 120th House Assembly District in Stratford and is seeking reelection on November 5th. She encourages all voters to take advantage of early voting dates (beginning October 21st) and invites voters who need an absentee application to contact her today at www.Dancho2024.com.
