Resident Comments Sought on Flooding in Town

The Draft Repetitive Loss Area Analysis (RLAA) has been prepared for the Town to assist residents and businesses in reducing their flood risk by providing a better understanding of potential and existing flooding problems in the Town and identifying potential solutions.
Due to the number of properties in the Town of Stratford that meet the National Flood Insurance Program’s (NFIP) definition of repetitive loss properties, a Repetitive Loss Area Analysis (RLAA) is required as part of the Town’s participation in the Community Rating System (CRS) Program. Once approved and adopted, this RLAA will also help the Town earn credit under the CRS Program.
We appreciate your involvement in the RLAA process as the Town continues to work to reduce flooding impacts to our residents and businesses.
The Town will also be discussing the RLAA at the Town Planning Commission Meeting in a Public Meeting on:
June 17, 2025 at 6:30 P.M.
