Shakespeare Market will be at 1850 Elm Street Stratford this Saturday Feb. 20 AND Sunday Feb. 21 from 10-2. Farmers, crafters, food trucks and do-gooders will all assemble at the famed property abutting the beautiful Housatonic River this weekend.

Each market features a unique roster of local entrepreneurs and artists.  Core food vendors like Eaglewood Farms (pork and eggs), Daffodil Hill Growers (farm fresh veggies and dairy), WHYNOT Farms (Certified Angus beef), and Wave Hill Breads will be available all weekend. Don’t forget to pre-order on the website and avoid the lines!! Check out the complete rosters for Saturday and Sunday February 20 and 21! For rosters go to: www.theshakespearemarket.org

Crafters will offer custom clothing, beautiful jewelry, home decor and original art.  Check out Stratford locals Emily Barksdale Art and Designs on Homestead home decor! Shopping locally was never so good!!  After the Market, walk into town and through Stratford’s Historic District. You won’t be disappointed!

The Dolly Parton Imagination Library, Sterling House and The YMCA will be there raising money to support literacy, collecting food, raising awareness for all the good causes in town.  Sterling House has even cooked up a scavenger hunt for the kids! Real Food Share, a Newtown based non-profit, will be there to show you how to grow vegetables in your own backyard and donate to local food banks!

Get out of the house.  Take a walk in the fresh air.  See the spectacular Housatonic River!  Mask up, come on down and social distance with us this weekend!
