This Saturday August 20th, 10:00-11:00 a.m. Sterling House Community Center will hold their 3rd Annual Soccer Clinic with the Bunnell Girls Soccer Team & Stratford High Team members. Resignation online at Sterling House Community Center’s website www.sterlinghousecc.org/soccer

On Saturday Sterling House is also hosting their Back-2-School event for all Stratford school students from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Please bring proof of school enrollment (report cards, etc.)

On Sunday the Shakespeare Market will be up and running. Food trucks, vegetable and food vendors, crafts, and more. Be There or Be Square!!!

On Monday head out to the Paradise Green Farmer’s Market Back Better Than Ever!!

Every Monday from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Connecticut Grown and Made. Make plans to bring the family to the Paradise Green Farmer’s Market on Monday, August 29th when it will have “Kids Day”.

This week’s Concert on Paradise Green features comedian Dave Sheehan and the folk rock band Kenn Morr. Bring your lawn chair, snacks and beverages, and have a great time!

Go for a candlelight walk on Wednesday, August 24th. The Stratford Historical Society is sponsoring weekly Wednesday Candlelight Historical Walks. Walks begin at Judson House, 963 Academy Hill Road, at 7 p.m. Walks vary each week, and are led by the Stratford Town Historian, David Wright.

Free tours and admission to Judson House for all children (and an adult) until September 5th. Tuesdays and Fridays 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Teen Tiny Art Show presently on display at the Stratford Library. According to Senior Service Specialist Teresa Neville, teens were invited to flex their artistic skills on the smallest canvas ever by creating a tiny work-of-art in their own style based on the theme: “Summer”. Art supplies were provided by the Library. The “Teen Tiny Art Show” is currently on display in the Teen Department throughout the summer.
