All town buildings will be closed on Thursday, November 23rd and Friday, November 24th in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday.

Thursday, November 23rd Thanksgiving Day Game between Bunnell High School and Stratford High School.  10 .a.m. at Mastroni Field at Bunnell.  For those not able to attend the annual Thanksgiving Day football game between the Bunnell Bulldogs and the Stratford Red Devils you can catch all the exciting play by play action live, at no cost, as it is being webcast on http://brakettes.com or a direct link at https://video.ibm.com/channel/hWYaqjCJJrJ

Sale starts Saturday, November 25th at 10:00 http://a.m.to 5:00 p.m.  Sterling House tree and wreath sale.  Sunday, November 26th: 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; Beginning Monday, November 27th, Mondays – Fridays: 1:00 p.m. to 7:00.p.m.; Saturdays & Sundays: 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. The sale continues until they are sold out.  Prices: Trees: $75, Orange or Yellow/Black Tag Trees: $45, Wreathes: Decorated – $40 / Undecorated – $30

Monday, November 27th, Beginning at noon, The Friends of Square One Theatre, in conjunction with the Stratford Library, will open the 18th season of its popular series, **“**Play It Again, Square One” The drama discussion series looks at recent productions by Stratford_s Square One Theatre Company and offers patrons the opportunity to explore and discuss aspects of the play they saw.  The November 27th session will be a discussion of the theatres recent, critically acclaimed play, **“**The Thanksgiving Play”.  Coffee and tea will be served. For further information, call the Stratford Library**’**_s Public Relations and Programming Office at 203.385.4162 or visit: www.stratfordlibrary.org.

Thursday, November. 30th at 5:30 p.m., Town Hall Green, the annual Holiday Tree Lighting. Highlights of the Festival will include complimentary photos with Santa and performances by Wilcoxson Elementary School students and the Stratford High School Select Choir. New this year, the Christ Church “Ding-a-Ling” bell choir will be performing in Town Hall Council Chambers.  Santa will arrive via fire truck, sirens and all.  There will be complimentary cookies and hot cocoa, provided by M&T Bank. The event will take place outdoors except for photos with Santa, which will be staged at Town Hall’s center staircase. Please arrive at Town Hall by 6:30 p.m. for photos with Santa.

Saturday, December 2nd from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. St. Joseph’s Christmas Fair.  Christmas craft fair with Polish Kitchen and raffles.  In the church hall, 1300 Stratford Road.

Saturday, December 2nd from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Christ Episcopal Church Nativity Festival, 2000 Main Street.  Nativity displays, Nativity Boutique with handmade Christmas Crafts, Children’s activities, Christmas cookies, soup and sandwiches!

Saturday, December 2nd, Sterling House Community Center Holiday Open House from 2-5 p.m. Hot cocoa, cookies, holiday music and storytime, facepainting, crafts, letter to Santa, and of course the sale of Christmas trees and wreaths.
