Friday December 1st to Monday December 4th, Boothe Holiday at the Homestead. The Historic Boothe Homestead at Boothe Memorial Park, 5800 Main Street, will be decked out in its finest splendor, with many of the buildings beautifully decorated for the holidays. The proceeds will benefit our school program.  The Homestead will be decorated in a Victorian theme. There will be 3 foot decorated trees available for auction.  The hours are:
Friday, December 1st from 6:30-8:30 p.m.
Saturday, December 2nd and Sunday, December 3rd from 2-5 p.m.
Monday, December 4th , 6:30-8 p.m.
The cost is $5. Children under 12 are free.

Sterling House tree and wreath sale. Beginning Monday, November 27th, Mondays – Fridays: 1:00 p.m. to 7:00.p.m.; Saturdays & Sundays: 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. The sale continues until they are sold out.  Prices: Trees: $75, Orange or Yellow/Black Tag Trees: $45, Wreathes: Decorated – $40 / Undecorated – $30

Saturday, December 2nd, Sterling House Community Center Holiday Open House from 2-5 p.m. Hot cocoa, cookies, holiday music and storytime, facepainting, crafts, letter to Santa, and of course the sale of Christmas trees and wreaths.

Saturday December 2nd – 10 a.m.- 3:30 p.m. – Ages 11+ Join us for Safe Sitters  class.  this weekend! This Safe Sitters course is designed to prepare students Ages 11+ to be safe when they are home alone, watching younger siblings, or babysitting. Students learn how to practice important safety skills, handle emergencies, care for children, and treat illnesses and injuries. These skills are transferable to other aspects of their lives as they venture throughout the world.  Holiday break is quickly approaching this December. Saturday, December 2nd from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. St. Joseph’s Christmas Fair.  Christmas craft fair with Polish Kitchen and raffles.  In the church hall, 1300 Stratford Road.

Saturday, December 2nd from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Christ Episcopal Church Nativity Festival, 2000 Main Street.  Nativity displays, Nativity Boutique with handmade Christmas Crafts, Children’s activities, Christmas cookies, soup and sandwiches!

Sunday, December 3rd, The Shakespeare Market, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.  Food and craft vendors, do your Christmas shopping and pick up food for dinner!  Freshest fall veggies and fruits you can get. All at The Shakespeare Market with Daffodil Hill Growers. Got a gaggle of great crafters showing off the goods also! Not to mention eggs, meats, and more art.

Tuesday, December 5th at 6:30 p.m. American Globe Center Meeting at Sterling House, Free and open to the public_._  This forum is part of the American Globe Center Conversations series that seeks to share information and excitement about building the world_s only timber frame re-creation of Shakespeare_s outdoor 1614 Globe theatre, and a state-of-the-art indoor performing arts and education facility, the AGC Playhouse. This gathering is open to the public, features a short demo of the AGC signature performance style, and encourages community discussion about a plan that requires zero tax-dollars, projects an annual $30-50 million infusion of cultural tourism dollars, and provides free/low-cost education opportunities to local students.  http://www.americanglobecenter.org
