Youth Boys Basketball League

Basketball is back at SHCC! Get back out on the basketball court this season with our recreational basketball league. Scholarships available for those interested in participating.
Teams are formed by grade with the following divisions:
Grades 3rd & 4th, Grades 5th & 6th, Grades 7th & 8th
Practices: One day a week
Games: Tuesdays or Thursdays and most Saturdays
Price: $150 (includes team entry into Milford Knights Hoopfest which takes place late February/ early March)
Team practices start in early December at various schools in Stratford. Team games start in early January at Second Hill Lane Elementary School, Birdseye Complex, or Wooster Middle School.
Learn to Play Basketball: Learn the fundamentals of basketball in a fun and encouraging environment!
Skills & Drills
This is a 4-week, co-ed program that takes place on Wednesdays, starting November 30th at Birdseye Complex Gym
Session 1: Kindergarten & 1st Grade | 5:30 – 6:30 pm
Session 2: 1st & 2nd Grade | 6:30 – 7:30 pm

Winter
Learn the fundamentals of basketball in a fun and encouraging environment!
This is a 6-week, co-ed program that takes place on Saturdays, starting January 7th at Second Hill Lane Elementary School
Session 1: Kindergarten & 1st Grade | 9:00 – 9:45 am
Session 2: 1st & 2nd Grade | 10:00 – 10:45 am
Price: $86
High School Basketball League:
JV Division: 9th and 10th graders
Varsity Division: 11th and 12th graders
Players are encouraged to form their own teams with a required adult coach over the age of 21. Games start in January.
Students playing for a high school team are not eligible for this league due to CIAC state rules.
