The Stratford Rotary Club will feature John Miksad and the World Beyond War. John never imagined himself as a peace activist. He is an Electrical Engineer by training. He spent his career at Con Edison of New York, retiring in 2014 as Senior Vice President of Electric Operations.
John felt compelled to take a stand against war due to twenty years (and counting) of continuous war and its consequences. He volunteers with World BEYOND War and Veterans for Peace, two non-profit organizations working to end the scourge of war and establish a just and sustainable peace.
