Casual Discussion on Local Topics

Wednesday, July 19th
6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Sterling House Community Center

The fifth edition of Stratford Community Conversations will be Wednesday, July 19th, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Sterling House Community Center, 2283 Main Street.

The July 19th meeting will be the last Community Conversations UNTIL we reconvene on September 13th.

The new series has drawn over 100 attendees in the first four meetings, which are bringing community members together to discuss issues in a positive, non-critical way, gain a better understanding of others’ views about life in Stratford, and talk abut what we can do to help foster improvement.

Topics are generated by attendees, and all Stratford residents, businesspeople, community leaders, government leaders and staff, and others are invited. Attendees may simply listen or join the discussion. There is no charge to attend.

Recent topics included: Plans for Shakespeare Park, Longbrook Park, homelessness here, and communications about Town meetings, new Town Council district maps, museums of Stratford, traffic calming measures, Little Pub land use, and more.
