New CTvisit.com resource helps families and travelers find discounts, special offers and affordable ways to explore Connecticut through Labor Day weekend
HARTFORD, Conn. (August 5, 2026) – The Connecticut Office of Statewide Marketing & Tourism today launched a new end-of-summer deals hub on CTvisit.com featuring limited-time discounts, packages and special offers from tourism businesses across Connecticut.
To celebrate the launch, the state is also partnering with CT Kids Passport to distribute 500 complimentary passports to Connecticut families.
The initiative is designed to help residents and visitors make the most of the final weeks of summer while responding to growing concerns about travel costs.
“Travelers aren’t looking to stop making memories—they’re looking for ways to make their travel dollars go further,” said Rachel Lenda, Director of the Connecticut Office of Statewide Marketing & Tourism. “By bringing deals and special offers together in one convenient place, we are making it easier for families, residents and visitors to discover affordable ways to experience Connecticut while helping our tourism businesses connect with new customers.”
The CT’s End-of-Summer deals will feature promotions from attractions, restaurants, lodging properties, retailers and other tourism-related businesses across the state. The deals will be available through September 7, 2026.
Tourism businesses may submit offers for consideration at: https://forms.gle/7HmNKpHudchYLk7Z6. Offers will be reviewed by the Connecticut Office of Statewide Marketing & Tourism, and submission does not guarantee placement on CTvisit.com.
500 Complimentary CT Kids Passports
As part of the launch, 500 complimentary CT Kids Passports—valued at approximately $20 each—will be distributed to families at six locations across Connecticut.
The passport encourages families to explore attractions, museums, farms, restaurants and other destinations throughout the state while documenting their adventures.
“At CT Kids Passport, our goal has always been to make family adventures more accessible while encouraging people to discover the incredible places in their own backyard,” said Autumn Elmazi, Founder of CT Kids Passport. “We’re excited to partner with CTvisit on an initiative that helps families save money, explore more of Connecticut and create meaningful memories while supporting the amazing local businesses that make our state so special.”
