The Crier has launched a weekly photo quiz to acquaint readers with the many beautiful parts of our town. Crier photographers will publish photos of Stratford’s gems and ask readers to identify the location. First right response will be honored with a free ice cream cone from Goody Bassett, a Stratford Mecca for ice cream lovers.
Stratford is home to many markers honoring people, places and organizations. Can you identify the location of this plaque?

The Shakespeare Garden, established in 1958 by the Bridgeport Garden Club, conceived and planted by the actor Will Greer is now maintained by 3 dedicated volunteers: Master Gardener Anne Lees, Jean Goodnow and Christine Rudney. An in depth article on this fabulous garden will follow in upcoming issue of the Crier.
