On Display:  MLK., Jr. I HAVE A DREAM BOARD

Martin Luther King, Jr.’s dream still echoes in our minds and hearts today. Inspire others by creatively expressing your dream(s) for your friends, family and community through art and/or writing, and add it to our month-long display at the Teen Desk. Stop in periodically to view the growing exhibition.

Grades 6-12.  No registration required.  Teen Department

 

TEEN LOUNGE

Need some space just to ‘chill’?  Come hang out, play giant games, sing karaoke, make a craft, and enjoy hanging out with your friends. Snacks are provided! No registration required.

3D PRINTING FOR BEGINNERS

Welcome to the exciting, ever-changing world of 3D printing! In this hands-on introduction, you’ll learn how to operate the uCreate Space’s Creality Ender 3 Pro 3D printer, how to search for downloadable 3D models using Thingiverse, and how to modify 3D models using Cura. All participants will receive a sample 3D print to take home.

Open to Grade 6 to adult, Thursday, January 18 at 6:30 – 7:30 p.m. in the Board Room

 

TEEN ANIME CLUB

Enjoy watching the latest Anime with friends while eating Japanese snacks!

No registration required. Grades 6-12, Monday, January 22 at 3:30 – 5:00 p.m. in the Board Room

VIRTUAL REALITY DROP-IN DAY  MORNING & AFTERNOON DROPIN SESSIONS

Pop by the uCreate Space to try one of uCreate’s Meta Quest 2 VR headsets! Immerse yourself in the virtual world, or try popular VR games like Beat Saber. For ages 10 and up; anyone 12 and under must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. *The headsets are available on a first come, first served basis.
