The Town of Stratford is proud to introduce the Celebrate Stratford Card, a new way to support local businesses and keep dollars right here in our community.
Stratford is home to over 3,200 registered businesses, ranging from home-based businesses and small neighborhood shops to restaurants, service providers, nonprofits, and major employers.
The Celebrate Stratford Card helps keep money in the community by encouraging people to spend directly with participating Stratford businesses. Instead of giving a gift card that can be used anywhere, this card keeps the focus local. When someone purchases and uses a Celebrate Stratford Card, those dollars go back into Stratford businesses, helping support local jobs, business owners, and the places that make our town special.
Businesses benefit by gaining additional exposure through the Celebrate Stratford Card website and promotional efforts, while also giving customers another easy way to support them. There is no cost for merchants to join, and no special equipment or software is required. Businesses that accept Mastercard can participate using their existing payment system.
Recently launched in partnership with local businesses, the Celebrate Stratford Card is a digital community gift card that makes it easy for residents, visitors, friends, and neighbors to shop locally. Cards can be purchased online and used at participating Stratford businesses, helping keep dollars right here in our community.
Why does this matter? It helps keep dollars in Stratford, supports local jobs, and strengthens the small businesses that play an important role in Stratford’s future. More than 30 businesses are already participating, including local favorites such as Cricket Car Hop, The Little Gym, H3 Pet Supply, Riverview Bistro, and more. Additional businesses are encouraged to join the program as it continues to grow.
