September is upon us and so are the final weeks of our Paradise Green Farmers’ Market. This summer proved to be one of many changes for the market! You may have noticed a few new vendors, new helpers, and a vibrancy that’s bringing life to the market. If you’ve not had a chance to stop by this season, you have a few more weeks to check it out. The Market’s last day is October 26th. There will be a special Labor Day Farmers’ Market from 10am-2pm with special vendors ‘kid entrepreneurs.’ You can check out the full announcement and invitation for kid entrepreneurs here.
In our issue this week, not only do we have lots of events, like Sterling Community Center’s Down & Dirty you can register for which takes place on Saturday, September 12th, or the Gather on the Green Fall Festival which takes place on Saturday, September 26th on Paradise Green.
With fall in the air, there is much to be hopeful for, including the September 3rd opening of Deep 6 Arcade on Main Street, in Station House Square. Here’s who they are in their own words: “Deep 6 Arcade was founded by people who love restoring classic arcade machines. For us, bringing these games back to life feels like preserving a small piece of history.” And even better, they are hiring! With a restaurant, bar, and classic old arcade games, it sounds like fun on Main Street!
