Dear Reader,

Almost there…2026 is just a few days away! In this week’s issue, we have a brief reflection on Jim’s 2025 transportation roundup. Barbara’s article reminds us that the Stratford Rotary Club puts service above self by serving guests at The Lord’s Kitchen, a community supper at Christ Episcopal Church. And Luz shares with us a forward-looking and hopeful anticipation of what’s ahead of us as of January 1, 2026.

Here is my invitation to you, dear reader: share your stories with us. Whether it’s an opinion piece, news story, or profile of a local business – we want to hear from you. Got a pet with fur? Did you dress them up for Chanukah, Christmas, or Kwanzaa? Submit their story and photo for our Fur Real column. Our community newspaper welcomes your voice within our pages as you offer your words, stories, and reflections. Wishing you, our community, and our beloved Stratford Crier a wonderful 2026!
