Dear Neighbor,
The sun has finally made a comeback, and perhaps you, too, can finally see your grass, albeit brown, you have grass! This week’s issue takes you on a journey via Jim’s transportation article to Iran and back again, while Tom’s Letter to the Editor brings us to a pressing local issue, the plans for the old Center School property.
Did restaurant week happen…not happen? The Town’s website provides some insight, with a statement you can read here. We continue to celebrate Women’s History Month. I hope you will take some time to learn more about a family of women who have dedicated their lives to helping others when they need it most.
How will you show up this week for someone in need? While you consider my question, I hope you get to enjoy some sunshine, maybe at one of the many restaurants or cafes around town, and maybe even peruse the future home of Marianna’s Pantry, slated to open their new location in Oronoque Plaza in April. Or hop on over to the reimagined Wayback Burgers (formerly Jake’s Wayback) today, starting at 10:30 AM for a BOGO burger special.
Let’s celebrate Stratford, and our neighbors every day!
