Saturday June 10th, Sikorsky 100 year anniversary celebrated at the Connecticut Air & Space Museum in Stratford, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Vintage and Military Helicopters on display. Discount tickets for children and veterans.
Sunday June 11th from 5-7 p.m. Boothe Memorial Park and Museum will be having their second annual Hats Off to Roses event on Sponsored by Friends of Boothe Park. They will be celebrating the 30th anniversary of their award-winning Rose Garden. A celebration of our wonderful rose garden. There will be food, entertainment and a presentation by author Caryn B. Davis
Monday, June 12th from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m The food pantry is sponsored by the Connecticut Food Bank, the Stratford Department of Health, and the YMCA. The Food Bank takes place on every other Monday, from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m., and they are asking that cars line up on College Street. You are also asked to bring your own reusable bag. There will be 1 bag per household distributed. Please bring identification if a second household is in the car.

The Stratford Beautification Commission announces its 25th annual Beautification Awards Program. This is your opportunity to nominate properties you believe worthy of recognition. This year, the focus will be on front yards and the curb appeal of local properties. The Commission is interested in homes and businesses that have attractive landscaping, flower beds or gardens – or properties that feature unique fences, walkways, lighting fixtures or door treatments – in short, examples of local beauty!
