Arts in the Park, Sunday, October 8th, at Lordship’s Greg Ackley Park.4 See you at the Park! (http://www.LordshipCT.org )

The Sanitation Division of Public Works WILL be working, Monday, October 9th, Columbus Day, to provide uninterrupted collection of refuse, recycling and yard waste. However, the Transfer Station on Watson Boulevard will be CLOSED on October 9th.

Monday, October 9th from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Farmer’s Market on Paradise Green. Shop local.  Connecticut grown.

Monday, October 9th, Stratford Library Movie Matinee, noon in the Lovell Room, Barbarian, free and open to the public.

Tuesday, October 10th flu clinic at Birdseye Municipal Complex from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Saturday, October 14th, Marching Band and Color Guard can and bottle drive from 9 a.m. to noon in the Eli Whitney bus loop – rain or shine!  Clean your closets, as they will also be collecting clothing and textile donations.  The recycling fund raiser pays by the pound and will support our Marching Band and Color Guard.
