Free Tax Filing Program Ends April 11th at South End Community Center, 19 Bates Street.  By an IRS certified Volunteer Tax Assistance (VITA) tax preparer. This program is open to all those who quality (households that earn less than $63,000 in 2023).  For appointments or program information call: 203-377-0689.  You may also email them at tysims@townofstratford.com

Their schedule is:
Monday’s Drop off Only (drop off box at side door in parking lot)
Tuesdays from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Thursdays from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Sunday, April 7th from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Shakespeare Market in Shakespeare Park.

Tuesday, April 9th, at 6:30 p.m. Tidying & Decluttering Topic_,_ Stratford Library KonMari Consultant Christine Thorn, “KonMari, The Funny Word That Declutters Your Life”, a presentation about the lifestyle benefits of the KonMari Method of tidying and decluttering.

Friday, April 12th, Song Circle at the Unitarian Universalist Church, 275 Huntington Rd, in Stratford.  A song circle is a friendly gathering to share the joy of singing. We take turns going around the circle to share or lead a song. Bring a guitar or whatever your favorite instrument is or just come to listen. Free.  For further information call: 203-722-8973

Monday, April 15th  Community Book Discussion of When We Walk By.  All Zoom meetings are 6:30 – 7:30 p.m. To receive the free Zoom link, email: socialjusticeatfcc@gmail.com.  The series provides a look that radically changes one’s understanding of neighbors, poverty, and homelessness. Believing we can make inroads in resolving homelessness and poverty in our community, the multipart discussion series welcomes all to attend, even if they have not yet read the book.
