Tips and Information

Stratford’s Annual Independence Day Fireworks display will be held Friday, June 30th, at Short Beach. The display will begin at sundown, approximately 9;00 p.m. The rain date will be Wednesday, July 5th. The Stratford Fireworks are sponsored by IBEW Local 488.

According to the Humane Society Pets are more sensitive to loud noises, flashing lights and strong smells. On the Fourth of July, and other days people are likely to set off fireworks, it’s best to leave your pets safely indoors, preferably with a radio or TV turned on to soften jarring noises.
