29th Annual Stratford Open Golf Tournament

The Stratford Rotary Club proudly announces the 29th Annual Stratford Open Golf Tournament to be held on Saturday September 17th at the Short Beach Par 3 Golf Course in Stratford.  This annual event raises money to benefit worthy causes.

This year proceeds will benefit a variety of programs including high school scholarships, Thanksgiving turkeys for those in need, a dictionary for every Stratford 3rd grader, a thesaurus for every 5th grader.

They are seeking hole sponsors for $50, an advertising sign with your business/organization name (or your name or photo) will be displayed on the day of the tournament. Also wanted are gift certificates, which can be used as raffle prizes

Become a part of this annual event and support the Stratford Rotary Club. The Stratford Rotary club membership represents a cross-section of Stratford’s business and professional men and women who have subscribed to honorable and ethical standards in their personal and vocational conduct, and who have a desire to do good things for other people both local and internationally.

Rotary is nonpolitical, nonreligious, and encourage all cultures, races, and creeds to join. The main objective of Rotary is service – in the community, in the workplace, and throughout the world. Rotarians develop community service projects that address many of today’s most critical issues, such as children at risk, poverty and hunger, the environment, illiteracy, and violence.   They also support programs for youth, educational opportunities and international exchanges for students, teachers, and other professionals, and vocational and career development. The Rotary motto is “Service Above Self”.
