CARE is an organization dedicated to promoting racial equity and cultural competence within the Stratford community. The group, along with the Greater Bridgeport Club of the National Association of Negro Business and Professional Women’s Clubs, Inc, and the Greater Bridgeport Section of the National Council of Negro Women, will host a community forum on Voter Education and Registration at the Stratford Library on Saturday, August 10th at 10:00 AM.

The CARE August meeting was held at Juliette Lowe Park, where members and guests enjoyed a BBQ and social gathering.

CARE is chaired by Michael Suntag. Other officers include Lee Ann Bradford, Co-Chair; Robyn Proto, Co-Chair and Education Action Team; and Tammy Langston, Secretary.

CARE (Citizens Addressing Racial Equity) mission statement is “Building Bridges for a stronger Stratford, making the Stratford Community stronger, more inclusive and vibrant by exploring practical wasy to address racial equity and promote culture competence.”
