Check Out the Hartford HealthCare Amphitheater

Celebrate the long Labor Day Weekend by coming out to the newly opened Hartford HealthCare Amphitheater on 500 Broad Street in Bridgeport tomorrow (Saturday, September 4th) for a concert featuring the Greater Bridgeport Symphony (GBS).

This will also be a great way to for the Stratford community to see the new venue after the completion of the multi-year renovation project!

The Greater Bridgeport Symphony will entertain with the music of Sondheim, Rodgers, Williams, Webber and Rossini, Strauss, Bernstein, Bizet and more!

For 75 years – since October 1946 – GBS has provided Bridgeport and the region with the finest in orchestral music. Maestro Eric Jacobsen continues to stretch the impressive talents of our musicians with heroic, large scale programming. GBS has recently hosted such worldwide luminaries as Gil Shaham, Colin Jacobsen, Mira Wang, Simone Porter (violinits), Alex Beyer, Andrew Armstrong, Tiffany Poon and the incomparable Yuja Wang (pianists).
