First Documentary Film in the Ghost Origin Series
Friday, October 4th beginning at 5:30 p.m.
Lovell Room
Stratford Library
Stratford is widely known for witch Goody Basset and Hugh Crosia, accused of witchcraft in 1691 but never convicted, ghosts, and things that go bump in the night!
This documentary film showcases 5 historical locations in Stratford that shaped the town dating back to 1639. The five historical locations are Fairchild-Perry House, Nichol-Benjamin House (better known as the “White House”), Abijah McEwen Homestead, (built in 1790, boyhood home of Frank Scott Bunnell, whose grandfather, John W. Sterling, purchased the home in the mid-1800’s), Pecks Pond and Boothe Memorial Park.
The film delves deep into local history and unearths stories that have been hidden for centuries. The documentary is about connecting with spirits at each location, and through research, some scientific equipment and mediumship. We connected with Spirits in each location who reached out to us to tell their untold story. The stories that we unearthed were just amazing. Everything is backed up with research.
Join us at the Stratford Library for a night of unique, unforgettable, exploration into the history of these locations.
